Harvesting turmeric

It’s cool this morning here in South Georgia. It’s so much to do in the garden, harvesting vegetable, collecting seeds, replanting, mulching and cleaning, not to mention taking care of harvested produce. so without saying much like to say in one sentence.

I am digging gold in the garden this morning 🙂

here some pictures for you to enjoy 🙂

Ridge gourd flowerSometimes we underestimate the power of vegetable flowers and ignore their beauty. Not they are as much as beautiful like roses but because of them we have bountiful vegetables in our garden.

I am so fond of vegetable flowers. Even for any reason it doesn’t produce fruit, I will forgive to appreciate. What can I say I just love their beauty with touch of simplicity.

Have a wonderful day.

In the garden

Eating fresh pecans just dropped from tree. It tastes amazingly unique. It tastes like a fresh coconut but smooth creamy slightly sweet after few days this tastes change completely to nut flavor slightly oily like walnut.. I like this fresh one better has no oily tastes and can’t get any fresher than just dropped, It tastes like fresh green peanuts.
