How to regrow Vegetables in garden.

  1. imageimageimageimageimageimageWhile eating healthy is vital to our health, fruits and vegetables are necessary to maintain healthy lifestyle but fruits and vegetables are getting expensive. It’s good idea to grow your own or regrow some of the vegetables we already bought .
    There are vegetables you can regrow again and again from kitchen scrap or waste we usually throw away.

here are some vegetables and herbs you can regrow again.

Cabbages.
Cut the bottom part of the cabbage, keep it in a cup or bowl, add some water, plant it out in the garden when ever you get a chance new leaves will appear in few days.
Couliflower.
Cut the bottom part, place it in a glass of water until you ready to plant in a soil or you can plant it straight in the garden.

broccoli.

you can plant the same way . Cut the bottom part and plant it in the soil.
Carrots.
Before you use carrots, cut off the bottom part, set them in a glass of water, Let them grow a new sets of leaves then transplant outside in the garden you will get a nice greens.
Scallions or green onions.
Cut the root part, place them in a bowl or glass of water,  keep them in a water until it grows a little bit then transplant them in the garden. You can plant straight in a garden too within couple of days you will see new sets of leaves.
Romaine lettuce.
Cut the top leaves, use the bottom part to grow in a cup or glass jar . Add some water let it grow until new leaves shows up than plant it in a garden.
Cilantro.
Cut the bottom part with the roots,  keep the stems in water until new leaves grows then plant it outside in the garden.
Garlic.
Some times we see garlic sprouting, instead of throwing it away plant them straight in a soil in a pot or in a garden.
Same way you can regrow sprouted onions to get green onions.
Same way you can try to regrow piece of ginger or bottom of pineapple too, if it doesn’t grow pineapple, it will definitely give you nice tropical plant.
Instead of throwing away our kitchen scraps, if we try to regrow , we can have a readily available free vegetables and herbs right in our kitchen garden and save us some money too.
Here are cabbage, broccoli, green onions, garlic greens, romaine lettuce and some other greens I harvested from garden.
